Position Summary
We are seeking experienced Skid Steer Operators and Excavator Operators to join our construction teams in and around Calgary. These roles are essential in supporting grading, site preparation, foundations, and infrastructure work. The ideal candidates will bring precision, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety while working in fast-paced construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

Skid Steer Operators:

• Perform fine grading and slab-on-grade (SOG) gravel placement.
• Ensure surfaces are level, compacted, and meet specifications.
• Work with foremen and grading crews to meet daily production goals.
• Conduct routine maintenance and keep equipment safe and clean.

Excavator Operators:

• Perform detailed digging for footings, foundations, and utilities.
• Load trucks quickly and accurately while maintaining safety.
• Support site prep and foundation crews on multi-family housing projects.
• Conduct daily inspections and report maintenance needs.

General Responsibilities (Both Roles):

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently on active job sites.
• Follow all site safety protocols and contribute to a safe, organized work area.
• Collaborate with foremen, supervisors, and crews to complete tasks on schedule.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating skid steers or excavators on construction sites.
• Proven skills in finish grading, excavation, or truck loading.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to work independently or in a crew.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Punctual, safety-focused, and team-oriented.

Preferred Assets

• Experience on multi-family residential or road construction projects.
• Familiarity with reading site plans, grade stakes, or GPS/laser-guided systems.
• Knowledge of trenching, grading, or utility work.
