Job Title: 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Carpenters – Camp Dismantling Project

Location: Conklin, Alberta
Start Date: Thursday, August 28, 2025
Schedule: 21 days on / 7 days off preferred
Job Type: Contract / Temporary

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Carpenters to support the dismantling of our Conklin Lodge modular camp facility. This is a great opportunity for candidates who are comfortable working in remote camp settings and enjoy hands-on, physical work in a team environment.

Key Details:

• Must have own personal vehicle to travel to Conklin and to the job site each day
• Accommodation: Hotel accommodations provided
• Transportation: Daily rides to and from the worksite (6-minute commute) with our Construction Managers
• Duration: Shift schedule of 21 days on / 7 days off preferred (flexibility may be possible)
• Wages:
• 3rd Year Apprentice: $30.00/hour
• 4th Year Apprentice: $34.00/hour

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the safe and efficient dismantling of modular camp structures
• Follow construction plans and safety protocols
• Collaborate closely with construction supervisors and other crew members
• Perform physical labor including lifting, cutting, and removing materials

Qualifications:

• Registered 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Carpenter
• Previous experience in camp, remote, or modular projects is an asset
• Physically fit and capable of working in outdoor environments
• Willing and able to travel and stay in Conklin, AB for the duration of the shift
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Compensation:

• $30/hour for 3rd Year Apprentices
• $34/hour for 4th Year Apprentices
• Hotel accommodations provided
• Daily transportation to/from the site provided
