As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for taping, mudding, and finishing drywall to create a seamless and polished surface. This is a key role in the drywall installation process, and your work will be a critical part of delivering top-notch quality to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Apply joint compound (mud) to drywall seams, corners, and nail/screw indentations.
- Tape and smooth seams between drywall panels to ensure a flawless surface.
- Sand and finish drywall to ensure smoothness and readiness for painting.
- Apply texture to drywall surfaces, when required.
- Perform touch-ups and make repairs as needed.
- Work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate with team members, contractors, and clients as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a drywall finisher or in a similar role.
- Expertise in taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing drywall.
- Familiarity with different drywall textures and finishing techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve high-quality finishes.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and commitment to safe work practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with advanced drywall techniques (e.g., custom textures).
- Certification or training in drywall finishing.
- Familiarity with commercial and residential drywall installation.
