We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full Class 5 Driver with a clean abstract for our executive client in Edmonton who can drive a 5-ton truck. The ideal candidate will also have to lift heavy weights ranging between 50-100 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 5-ton truck to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload furniture, ensuring proper handling and securing of pieces of furniture and accessories.
- Perform routine inspections on the vehicle and report any mechanical issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation.
- Arrange the furnitures and items as directed
Experience
- Previous experience driving 5 ton trucks, cube van etc.
- Familiarity with load unloading procedures and heavy lifting techniques.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Requirements
- Must have a Full Class 5 Drivers License
- Must have a clean Drivers abstract
- Must be able to pass Government Security Clearance
- Must be able to stay out of town for 2 months.
- Must be able to understand and communicate fluently in English.
- Willing to work 12 hour day / night shifts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
