TIPS Personnel is currently looking for a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to support our construction management team in Lethbridge. You’ll play a key role in helping civil infrastructure projects stay on track — coordinating schedules, resources, documentation, and communication between field teams, subcontractors, and clients.

Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project timelines, budgets, resources, and updates to ensure deadlines and budgets are met
- Support the Project Manager in planning and scheduling civil, earthworks, and underground utility projects
- Communicate with contractors, vendors, and clients to resolve issues and ensure deliverables are met
- Track progress, conduct site visits, and flag potential delays or changes to stakeholders
- Maintain accurate project documentation (contracts, change orders, reports, meeting minutes)
- Monitor subcontractor performance and work quality to ensure adherence to project specifications
- Assist with managing invoices, timesheets, permits, and vendor documentation
- Help resolve on-site or scheduling issues and escalate to leadership when needed
- Maintain compliance with OH&S standards and TIPS Personnel safety procedures
- Work a 40-hour week with flexibility for additional hours during busy construction months
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Project Manager or Operations Team
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology required; registration with APEGA or ASET is preferred
- Experience coordinating civil construction or utility infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of earthworks, trenching, tunneling, and renewable energy construction is a strong asset
- Comfortable working with field teams, engineers, clients, and utility stakeholders
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, MS Project, Adobe, and CAD
- Experience with B2W software (Estimate, Schedule, Track, Maintain) is a major asset
- Ability to read blueprints, schedules, and cost reports confidently
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (site access not available via public transit)
