Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring that products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.
Duties
- Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and order pickers to move products safely and efficiently.
- Perform order picking tasks accurately using warehouse management systems to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring that all items are handled with care.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Build and fabricate pallets or crates as needed for shipping purposes.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies to management.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and improve processes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus, with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for efficient order processing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
